Project Apple

Project A.P.P.L.E. (Assisting Pasadena People with Limited Emergencies) is a program that provides a one-time credit of up to $200 per year to help eligible low-income residential PWP electric customers keep their lights on.

Attention Applicants: Jackie Robinson and Villa Parke Community Centers will no longer process the application or issue the Project A.P.P.L.E. voucher. Please visit the Municipal Services Pay Center located at City Hall to apply. 

Customer must have a final notice from PWP and be enrolled in the EUAP, CARES, or CARES Plus bill assistance program at the time of application. Please call (626) 744-7311, if you have any questions regarding the Project A.P.P.L.E. program.

Eligibility 

Only the primary residential electric account holder can apply for Project A.P.P.L.E. and customer must be enrolled in PWP’s EUAP, CARES or CARES Plus bill assistance program at the time of application. The PWP account must be at risk of power shut-off and must have received Final Notice. A customer can only qualify for the A.P.P.L.E. credit once every 12 months and cannot receive this credit at more than one PWP service address.

Eligible recipients who are approved for A.P.P.L.E will have the $200 credit applied at the City’s Municipal Services Payment Center.

2.   ON YOUR PWP/MUNICIPAL SERVICES BILL:

If you’re a PWP customer, you can make a donation of any amount by checking off the Project A.P.P.L.E. box on your PWP billing statement and including the donation with your payment.
