Monthly Bill Payment Assistance

There are several ways to qualify for ongoing help to pay your residential electric utility bill, or what we call bill payment assistance. To see if you are eligible, please review requirements for each bill assistance program and apply online using the links below.

Please note: Only the residential electric account holder can apply for one of the programs listed below. The account holder must provide proof of income for all persons living in the household and meet the household low-income requirements.

Low-Income (Electric Utility Assistance Program - EUAP) - Apply Online!

Low-income customers between the ages of 18 and 61 who qualify according to the table below can receive $10 per month credit on their bill.

Low-income seniors (ages 62 and up) or customers with a permanent disability* who qualify according to the table below can receive $10 per month bill credit and their Public Benefits Charge (PBC) charges waived.

* You must be 62 or older or permanently disabled to qualify for Cares or Cares Plus. Customers may only participate in one PWP bill payment assistance program at any one time. The residential electric account holder must provide proof of income for all persons living in the household and meet the household low-income requirements.   May not combine the Medical Assistance benefit with EUAP, CARES or CARES Plus benefits.

For disability, you must meet the disability requirements as established by the Social Security Administration’s Supplemental Income for the Aged, Blind and Disabled. Permanently disabled customers must submit a printout of your benefits from the Social Security Administration Office.
