Dunham Alley Conversion Project

Project Overview

Pasadena Water and Power is in the process of rebuilding power lines, replacing poles and installing new electrical equipment in and around Dunham Alley. PWP Contractors will be performing work in the area, and will need de-energize equipment causing planned outages. Customers impacted by these outages will be notified in advance.

Due to the nature of the work, PWP Contractors will need access to Dunham Alley as well as some residents' backyards in order to perform construction. Please make arrangements to move any vehicles out of Dunham Alley; parking restrictions have been lifted for the area in front of houses to allow for residential parking.

Timeline and Location

Work will take place from Monday, November 29, 2021 through Friday, December 10, 2021. During this time period, residents will be impacted by outages lasting approximately 2 hours as crews work to replace poles. Additionally, as the construction finalizes, PWP will need to perform one, final outage that will last approximately 6-8 hours. Customers impacted by these outages will be notified in advance.

Work is being done in Dunham Alley between Sinaloa Ave and Sierra Bonita Ave, as well as in the residential area between Sierra Bonita Ave and Hamilton Ave. Please reference the map below, green area is where work is taking place.
