Beware of Recent Scam Calls

Pasadena Water and Power is warning customers of a recent spate of fraudulent phone calls posing as PWP employees and technicians.

In the scam, callers are demanding payment from customers due to allegedly unpaid water or power bills while threatening imminent service disconnection. So far, these fraudulent phone calls have been coming from 1-800-495-2902 as well as (406) 541-4433. PWP representatives will never call customers over the phone and demand payment while leveraging threats or require payment through third-party payment systems such as Zelle.
