Green Power Program
Participate in PWP's Green Power Program every time you pay your bill and support the purchase of local renewable energy.
“Green Power” is a term used to describe electric energy produced from renewable resources, such as solar, wind, geothermal, small hydro and biomass. These methods of producing electricity have a low impact on our environment.
For as little as $3.60 per month, you can help bring more renewable energy to Pasadena, and reduce the city’s dependence on fossil fuels.
Help Increase Pasadena's Renewable Energy Mix
PWP customer contributions to the Green Power Program help accelerate Pasadena’s renewable energy portfolio. When customers opt into the program, it provides PWP with direction on how much additional renewable energy to purchase beyond state compliance requirements.
How it Works
It’s fast and simple -- just sign up once, select your contribution level, and start making a difference every time you pay your bill.

Residential customers can choose from three different options: $3.60 per month (200 kWh), $7.20 per month (400 kWh), or ALL GREEN, meaning an additional charge of 1.8¢ per kilowatt hour used.

Commercial customers can choose from two different green power options in blocks of 1,000 kWh: $18.00 per block, or ALL GREEN, meaning an additional charge of 1.8¢ per kilowatt hour used.
