May is Water Awareness Month
Pasadena Water and Power joins utilities across the state in celebrating Water Awareness Month, an annual outreach campaign to spread the word about the value of conserving Southern California’s most precious natural resource, water.
Water is a Precious Resource
Did you know that all of the water provided by Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) is high-quality drinking water? This means that when we shower, and wash our dishes we are using water that is treated and clean enough to drink.
You can help us protect and conserve. Check out these tips!
- Install water-efficient devices, like a low-flow showerhead.
- Transform your garden with native, drought-tolerant plants.
- Utilize water recapture by investing in a rain barrel.
- Drink tap water with a reusable bottle.
