Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) Platinum Designation - APPA

Pasadena Water and Power received the 2021 Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) Platinum designation by the American Public Power Association (APPA).

The RP3 program recognizes utilities that demonstrate high proficiency in four disciplines: reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement. Criteria within each of the four RP3 areas are based on sound business practices and recognized industry leading practices. All RP3 designations are valid for three years. Applications are reviewed by an 18-member panel of public power representatives nationwide.
