PWP Wins 2019 Silver Stevie Award

Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category at The 17th Annual American Business Awards®.

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.

PWP’s Power UP Pasadena Marketing Campaign, which launched in August of 2018, earned it the prestigious award. Power UP Pasadena, an electrification initiative which promotes the use of Electric Vehicles (EV) throughout Pasadena, provides a foundation for the community to continue going green. The campaign highlights PWP’s new EV incentive program, which offers residents up to $750 in rebates for new or used, purchase or leased EVs, and up to $600 in rebates for the installation of EV charging infrastructure. Since the start of the campaign, PWP has received more than double the EV incentive applications. In total, more than 500 EV rebates have been issued to Pasadena residents. This increased commitment to green living and sustainable communities further propels Pasadena into the future.
