Tinker 6th Grade Program

Each year, more than 900 local sixth-graders participate in a collaborative classroom program that teaches students how to investigate and measure energy and water use in their homes, while helping them build knowledge of current environmental issues.

Each student receives a water and energy conservation kit that they can take home and install with their parents. By the program’s end, the students -- and their families -- have a greater understanding about the importance of water and energy conservation.

This program is provided by PWP in partnership with Tinker LLC.
